let it be known to everyone that there exists fics out there that if were ever to be updated…would absolutely without a doubt kill me,,, like no joke at all if even one more chapter one more sentence were to be added to a fic since its last update in 2006 i would have heart palpitations so severe that it would send me into a heart attack making me drop dead on the spot the minute after the update came to my email

i could be having dinner with my wife and kids in 2027 and hear that ding on my phone and look down to see that favorite guilty pleasure fic from when i was 14 has been updated for the first time in 21 years and i would just,, drop dead in front of my whole family at the dinner table like,,, do these people even realize how much power they have over me

This makes me want to go and randomly update one of those fics I started in 2001. I still have the password to my first ff.n account. I have this power.
