(This is completely random and off the top of my head, so some details will probably be proved wrong by canon)

So like you know how Webs didn’t teach Tsunami Aquatic? Seawing dragonets probably already know aquatic from when they hatch (like how children know a language when they hear they’re parents) and Webs probably like assumed “i’m a seawing and she’s near me so she’ll know it by nature”. And when she’d randomly flash her scales it was between garbled nonsense and understandable sentences, like he’d actually think she was talking to him. And I feel like there would be funny outcomes to this.

Tsunami: //flashing scales// how was the day?

Webs: //flashes scales in response// oh it was good! How was your’s?

Tsunami://flashes scales back// you are a fish face.

Webs: oh ;v;
