I’m so glad people are still making likbred poems!

But in regards to the salt, who HASN’T seen an unfamiliar crystalline substance, thought “that kind of looks like salt,” and licked it to find out if it’s salt?

I’m not joking. Is that not a thing people do? It’s EXACTLY what I would have done on that planet. I would have tasted the red part and the white part separately – are they both salt? Is one part saltier than the other? Do regular people not regularly taste-test suspected salt materials?

No
