And for those of you who think queer is really only used negatively by those above 40, 42 percent of online youth aged 15 to 17 and 36 percent of internet users aged 18 to 29 use twitter. Less than 25 percent of over 30s, and only 10 percent of over 65s, use twitter. That means a lot of these negative tweets are coming from under 40s.
