France, UK and US literally think the world is a game, their leaders honestly think that they can use the lives of people overseas as a bargaining chip in their quest for power in their countries. And people literally eat this shit up and write endless think pieces hemming and hawing about “what this means” for those in charge, because they think politics is a strategy game and not something that has actual consequences that’s going to kill people. Because the people that get killed aren’t thought of as people in any sense anyway.
