I heard a woman down the hall from me in the hospital say she wasn’t holding her baby much because she didn’t want to spoil him. And my heart broke and I had to resist charging into that room and taking him so he could be held as long as possible. The nurse thankfully told her it’s impossible to spoil a baby with cuddles and I hope the woman took it to heart.

This is such a common belief too 😩 its so awful
