How strange that people, who once raved about how dreamy Cumberbatch was before whatever happened happened (I literally don’t know), now start mocking his appearance. You can be attractive and a terrible person… if that is the case. Tear someone down you don’t like using actual arguments, not being a dickwaffle about their physical appearance which they LITERALLY cannot help.

Lemme stress this again. I don’t know what happened to make people start hating him. I am not in the loop on that and honestly I’d like to know so I can speak knowledgeably, but there are people out there who are self-conscious who might have some of his facial structure or traits who you just made feel extremely bad about themselves.

Literally nothing other then he getting popular made people start hating him.
I am a Fan for a while and really?
He NEVER had any drama around him. Nothing. None. Niente.
He just got popular, and so hating him became popular.

Also, I personally like him! He is definetly a fresh face, and someone I do not confuse all the time with someone else! (Looking at Christian Bale and Keanu Reeves, which I still confuse to this day…)

Also, lets be honest here. Deadpool is one ugly mofo, there is no denying. Not the actor, but the role, that is kind of the point there xD

At one point he said that he played a slave driver (in 12 Years A Slave) as a “sort of apology” for the fact that his family’s entire fortune is built off the back of slaves.

At one point he defended Julian Assange and said that the sexual assault allegations against him were just character defamation.

He’s also set to star in an upcoming adaptation of Gypsy Boy, a memoir which tackles the culture and lifestyle surrounding Romany Gypsy culture. So, more whitewashing. 

At one point he referred to black actors as “coloured”. 

Here he reduces the character of T’Challa – the king of Wakanda and a strong, incredible black character –  to some sort of dirty animal who’s gonna give Bucky rabies.

He both compared people with autism to Frankenstein’s monster, and said that a protagonist with autism would give people with autism “false hope”. 

He misgendered Chelsea Manning on purpose for an entire interview. 

His role in Zoolander 2 was extraordinarily transphobic.

He’s super classist. In this article he both fat-shames and says some really iffy shit about the class structure of the Edwardian period. 

There’s a lot of classism here to unpack. Just give it a read. 

He genuinely feels fucking ostracised and typecast because he’s a rich white man, and thinks this limits his options in the acting industry.

At one point he referred to gay people as “gays” whilst saying that gay people are the most homophobic. He also said that now we’ve “done” a black president, we need to “do” a female president and a gay president.

He just also happens to look like a fucking alien.
