this post is a joke because Moonlight didn’t get nearly the same recognition as Love Simon and Carol was hyped up by white wuhluhwuls while the Handmaiden was completely disregarded

not every gay movie needs to be a masterpiece but it’s super fucking transparent that this post is making the rounds after POC rightfully criticized the way white gays pan amazing movies with primarily nonwhite casts and hype up mediocre movies with white casts.
