I know I posted about this before but the most devastating thing that’s ever happened to me was finding out that my high school English teacher who wore bow ties and admitted to reading the last page of a book first had not only seen and enjoyed some of Doctor Who, but hadn’t seen 11 so he wasn’t even trying he was just like that and I couldn’t post about it. I couldn’t tell anyone because who the FUCK would believe me in 2011, the era of “I wrote a johnlock fic for class and got an A+”
I had to take that knowledge and hold it all inside.
Even me finding out was like a horrible fake tumblr post I was at my locker after school and my friend mentioned that he said something about the show in class that day and I literally slammed my locker shut and sprinted down the hall and burst into his classroom which to be fair was normal I was obnoxious and I said “YOU WATCH DOCTOR WHO??” And he smiled really sheepishly and said “a little bit!” And I couldn’t think of anything else to say so I said me too! And then I left and I went home and got ready to post about it and I was like
