“your great great grandma lost the use of her legs but she taught herself to walk again” lol cool story but the thing is great great grandma wasn’t paralyzed and she lived in excruciating pain until she died

Like…. She didn’t walk again because she had magic inner fortitude, she walked again because there weren’t any ramps or wheelchairs so she had to choose between chronic agony or living the rest of her life and dying alone in one room. That’s not inspiring for the reason you think it is
